I called Dr, Schneider's office to schedule a tooth extraction. Larissa answered the phone and she was extremely short and rude. All she cared about was that they would get paid up front. I told her that was fine and that I was more concerned about the medical side. She showed absolutely no concern for me as a patient. I had rather basic questions that she couldn't, or wouldn't answer. I decided this was not the place for me. I ended up having the extraction with Dr. Fried in Mayfield and the initial phone call as well as the patient care during the entire experience was positive. Was not able to give zero stars but that is what this office deserves.

I would prefer to review my concerns w/the Dr., but his staff won't put callers through to him & I've never received a return call from my messages I left.

One star is generous after my experience.

Flag 1: 2' swatch of filth on the wall by the coats.
Flag 2: illiterate staff. Canary was cannery. The source of the bone graft material was A Cadabra. I asked for both words to be confirmed. A medical professional that is illiterate?
Flag 3: I was told that I paid all upfront, it would then be submitted to dental insurance and medical insurance for reimbursement. I asked if it's covered: 'of course! This is a medical need!'. I paid for the procedure and started it.
Flag 4: the day of surgery, I arrived to a very sick staff member trying to attend to me. I told he I did not appreciate coming for surgery to be met by a person with the flu or severe cold.
Flag 5: Huge lump on the roof of my mouth. Asked the doctor what it is, will it go away. His response: It's your mouth.
Flag 6: conversations w/Peggy in billing after the 1st procedure. With every conversation & changed stories, the lies were obvious. I told her that she is about to lose a patient as I had another procedure that cost as much as the first. she continued to lie. I sought out another doctor.
Sunk Ship: I saw another doctor, He went in to place the posts only to find the graft put in by Schneider was 'moosh', it all had to be scraped out and new grafting added.

The job started in Feb 2019 was to be completed July 2019, now cannot be completed until January 2020 because my mouth needs a lot of healing to recover.

If Dr. Schneider has a conscience, he will check his records for an implant patient from February that never returned, call me and arrange sending my money back.

Humiliating experience. Called for an appointment and was denied treatment because i have a disability. The doctor doesn't see people like you. Isn't my insurance as good as everyone else's is? First impressions are everything and this tells me this is some one to stay away from.
