After two encounters decided to find another dentist. He accidentally chipped one tooth, fixed it, but refused to take the responsibility for it. On the last visit I was so nervous that it made him nervous. He actually stopped working to state, "You are making ME nervous. You need to take a valium." He may be the very best dentist for everyone else, but isn't there always an exception to the rule? At one point, however, I did return to the office as the new dentist was advocating a root canal. The aid/receptionist of the office made a point of insulting me. Had she not taken this approach I would have returned as a patient. Very happy she was rude because the other dentist was quite right - a root canal was necessary.
