Grace Zhang was rude and not compassionate. Very curt; I was floored at how dismissive she was of me, almost as if she didn't want my business. I would highly recommend against visiting her for acupuncture.

I moved here from Florida where acupuncture is performed at a very high level. I found Grace Zhang's practice on yahoo and after viewing her website, chose to make an appointment. After the initial interview, she diagnosed my situation and treated me with acupuncture and herbs. The acupuncture was the worst I have ever had. I have seen acupuncturists in Florida for over ten years for one thing or another and it never hurt before. She is terrible! I asked if the herbs would interact with a medication that I was on and she told me to discontinue taking it. She said the herbs would take care of the problem and that I only needed to see her. She stated that I didn't need to go back to my physician, that she was an MD, and I would be fine.

The herbs made me sick. I had gastro-intestinal issues from them that cleared when I stopped taking them. When I saw her again, she changed the formula, but I still had problems from the herbs. I also got an infection in one of the acupuncture injection sites. When I went to the urgent care center for treatment, I was told that she was not allowed to prescribe herbs in Ohio! I have not returned and have called the medical board to report her. I found out from the medical board that she is not a doctor, had no right to tell me not to go to my physician, and broke the law when she prescribed herbs.

I feel cheated. I got sick. I got an infection. She got a several hundred dollars from me. My experience with acupuncture has been very good until this episode. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT jeapordize your health by going to this "doctor."
