I’ve been going to Mark, on and off for well over 20 years. For a variety of reasons, I have occasionally gone to other acupuncturists in Santa Barbara, but I keep returning to Mark Ruskin. His light, intuitive technique with what I recall are the finer Japanese needles makes a big difference. I leave the session feeling calm, relaxed with the affected area much improved. From Sciatica, neck pain, sinus problems pulled muscles and more, Mark provides a wholistic approach, often using Chinese herbs and deep tissue massage to supplement the therapy. I can’t say enough positive comments —I just hope he doesn’t plan to retire any time soon!

Mark Ruskin is the very best practitioner I've ever seen in Santa Barbara! He has profoundly healed my mind, body, and spirit. When I first came to him I was a total wreck, in tremendous pain, with major anxiety and not sleeping. After working with hime for 2 months, I am literally a new person and am 90% pain free! Just go and see him! His acupuncture is the most effective and the most painless I'ver ever experienced.

Mark Ruskin is truly a gifted healer. He has helped me tremendously with my anxiety, depression, insomnia, and PTSD. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs have transformed my life and increased my quality of life tremendously. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark Ruskin and his gentle, caring treatments and insightful approach that touches mind, body, and soul.

Mark Ruskin has helped me SO much the past couple months with my back and neck that I just had to share this! I first came to see him after a bad fall on my bike, leaving me in major pain. I felt a big improvement after just a few treatments, and when we added in his amazing deep tissue massage with the acupuncture, my healing accelerated. What I thought would be a life-long injury is now nearly healed. I couldn't recommend Mark enough! He is truly a gifted healer!

Mark Ruskin is the VERY best acupuncturist I've ever seen (and I've seen many over the years!). He really listened and cared and helped me with a stomach problem I'd been having for over 6 months. He was gentle, thoughtful, and spent a lot of time with me reviewing my diet and medications and making life-changing suggestions that have helped tremendously! He also taught me some Qi Gong exercises to help calm my stress and anxiety. I now recommend Mark to everyone!

When I arrived for my appointment the doctor was waiting for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed. He made sure every single question I had was answered, I will definitely refer my friends and family here. He was great and I think more people should know about him. He gave me a very thorough explanation about how acupuncture works and why its effective. It was obvious that he had years of experience under this belt and loads of training. I was confident that my treatment would go off without a hitch.
