I've been going to Dr. Hess since I was very young and was lucky enough to have also been a patient of Dr. Hess Sr. It is a great family business who tends exceedingly well to your family and makes you feel apart of theirs. The wonderful ladies who work there, along with Dr. Hess always remember me and ask fondly of my parents and siblings, as well as how school is going and how my niece is. They always remember her name to, and that I am currently going to school at L.S.U.

We moved this past year and changed our opthamologist to Dr.Gary. I was the first to get a check up and it was a great experience. Dr. Hess answered all of my questions and took his time re-checking to ensure the perscription was correct. My glasses came in a week or so after the initial exam. They quickly sceduled me in to fit my glasses and check my contacts. Afterward my 8 year old daughter's school informed me that she was having trouble seeing far away. I thought about looking into a pediatric opthamologist but decided to try Dr. Hess's office for her as well. I am glad I did! He is great with kids and once again he explained everything thorougly and gave us many options regarding her vision and eye health. My 5 year old sat in on the exam and said, "Mom, I think the eye doctor's office is cool." I will be scheduling an exam for her as well. Great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
