My husband and I have been going to Dr. Armstrong’s office for years. Today will be our last visit to her office. I agree with the reviews that Dr. Armstrong is nice and the appointments with her are usually fast and easy. However, the kindness and timeliness does not even come close to making up for the rudeness from her office staff. Going back a few years when her office was getting remodeled I went in for an appointment and was asked to fill this form out that contained most of my private information. I alerted the girls at the time that I had already filled out the form from my last visit and nothing had changed, to my surprise they told me the form was mis placed and they needed me to fill a new one out. I was extremely frustrated and couldn’t understand how they could lose a form that contained my ssn, address and insurance info. Now back to today’s appointment, I’m asked to review the form and notice that this was my original one that they said was lost. I informed the girl that this is an older form because the employer and insurance listed was from 3 years ago and I had been to the office last February and this was not the information I would have provided. Instantly the girl is pissed, tells me that’s the only form they have on file and if there’s a change I need to put it in. I tell her that’s fine but now I am wondering who they billed for my appointment in February because if they truly billed the one on this form they would have been declined because that insurance had already been terminated. She tells me that she is not able to see that and I will have to call Monday to get that info in the most passive aggressive way. At this point my husband is done with eye exam and the girl now says she can’t find my husband on our policy. This too came with an attitude, I explained to her that it’s impossible because we have family coverage through Anthem. She’s insistent that he’s not on there and even tells me “I don’t know what to tell you I don’t see him so you better call your HR department at your job.” When I got into the exam room Dr.Armstrong tried to explain to me what was happening with the billing but at this point I was so frustrated with the girl at the front that I gave Dr.Armatrong my husbands insurance card and asked her how can he not be on my plan if his card is here and he’s showing up as an active member on my plan through the Anthem app. She took my response as being snarky and decided to call me out on it, not acknowledging that I was frustrated by how I was treated by her staff. I walked out of the room and told her I’m not having my exam today. Coincidentally though, the office manager (not the girl giving me the attitude) was able to find my husband right away when she looked up our account. Dr.Armstrong lost 2 loyal customers today because of her ignorance about her office staff and her quickness to assume that I was being rude on purpose. I am extremely disappointed in her and her office staff to the point that I will not recommend her any longer.

I wasn't worried about their equipment. It was safe and modern. I was pleased by the prompt attention, and the professionalism of the staff. I have been a patient for over 15 years. I will never go anywhere else. I was very comfortable the entire time.

Although I have never had much to complain about I know that they always adhere to the customer is always right policy here. They take every complaint very seriously and strive to ensure that clients leave satisfied with their visit each and every time. They are so kind and caring, and they stay open way past their closing time to help anyone who needs them. They wouldn't deny anyone that needed help. I know I can always count on them. I was so pleased with the warm reception I got here-everyone is so friendly! I really enjoyed my visit. They answered every single question I had, and made it clear that they are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered.

Appointments were always handled expeditiously and I rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes. The examinations were never rushed and I had more than enough time to have my questions answered. There have been a number of times where Kelly has seen me on extremely short notice/ Despite having to "squeeze me in", I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend her.

Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I didn't have to wait too long after I arrived for my appointment. They were running just about on time, which is a really big deal for me. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate. I always get the appointment time I want. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations, which can be rare in these times.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Absolutely, they always make me feel like I'm their only patient.
