I was just telling a friend about my son, his eye problems when he was young and how Visual Therapy provided by Dr Bateman over 30 years ago worked beyond our expectations and belief.
A long story shortened: Brett (my son) was placed in glasses at 6 months old because his eyes turned in even after surgery at 11 months old. If my memory serves me, visual therapy with Dr. Bateman started when he was 4 years old. We worked several times a day at home with the exercises given to us that week at the office. Brett still recalls the daily work and has no regrets.
Dr Bateman helped him achieve cosmetic correctness with glasses. When Brett graduated from college he recommended an ophthalmologist to perform Lasik surgery.
Today, Brett is 38. He does not wear glasses and is cosmetically straight. You would never know he had eye problems when he was young.
All thanks to Dr Bateman and his crew!!

Dr. Bateman is very compassionate and kind. He is meticulous and pays attention to every detail. Our vision therapist, Heather, has been exceptional and my husband has made great improvements in his vision as a result of his therapy. I would recommend Dr. Bateman in a moment. We could not be more pleased.

I have no idea what business the above reviewer is talking about. We've been going to Dr. Bateman for almost 15 years. They've always been very professional, friendly, and helpful. And the neighborhood is perfectly safe, for crying out loud.

I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me. I was horrified at how badly they treated their staff members. I felt so bad for all of them. It made me lose a lot of respect for them. Everyone should be aware of the fact that this business is not in a very safe neighborhood. It was not what I was expecting and I was pretty scared to get out of my car. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. They never take that extra step to make me feel special. I haven't ever felt that they care enough to get to know me and that I'm almost an irritation.
