I have been a member for about 5 years. The last year the San Marcos gym has gone down hill. The holds are old and greasy. They do not think it is important to change the routes. It has been 6 months with the same routes. They finally changed out about 5 routes last month. The owner of this gym obviously does not care about the customers

Bruce the owner of Solid Rock Gym is upset with me for giving him a bad review on Yelp. I went to renew my membership and his employee told me that I am banned from climbing at the gym. because I put my opinion on Yelp.

It is unfortunate that the owner gets mad when someone tries to get good service.I sent the owner an email before writing the review. I waited 3 -4 weeks and he did not even bother to call or have someone talk to me. l I was dissapointed that the routes had not been reset in 6 months.
