Dr. Tim McGinnis does outstanding work.

However, his front office (the face of the practice) could not have been more rude to me. They make it clear on the first visit that they take cash or check only, do not process insurance, and do not take credit cards. Fair enough.

After spending several hundred dollars for myself and my daughter and discussing this with my health insurance company, they said I could submit the receipts and not involve the Chiropractor's office whatsoever. So I followed up with the Family Chiropractic receptionist, inquiring whether I could get a diagnosis code and Tax ID for the services that had been provided. She refused to provide this, citing Obama Care and reminding me that I signed a document stating that I would NOT turn this into insurance. My independent claim submission had nothing to do with their adherence to Obama Care. I was pursuing this on my own with my insurance company, completely independent of the practice.

Cash only? Something smells fishy here...which is sad to say because Dr. Tim is a wonderful caregiver. However, he is not a "monopoly commodity" and he is not so wonderful as to have to tolerate rudeness by his counter person.

Absolutely! They were extremely careful
