I am 82. I was an hands on shepherd for the last 20 years. Buckets and bails have taken a toll. I still have chickens. Even though I never carry more than small half bucket for my watererrs---usually one in each hand--- I still got a terrbile pain in my lower back several weeks ago. My shoulders have been sore and stiff for years. I am regular in doing back exercises for the last 60 years because I ruptured three lower discs and refused a spinal fusion. Several people told me that was worse than before the surgery. Occasionally over the years I've needed a straighten and I'd be fine for another year or two. But the pain of several weeks ago made me try Dr. Laurie even though she is farther away from me. I have now seen Doctor Reiner Hughes twice. The results of the first treatment were better than I expected. But her second has been almost a miracle---my shoulders and back no longer scream for help. If this kind of improvement continues I won't remember how old I am! I am already planning wonders for my garden! And I'll buy a wig and fool people!

I have been seeing Dr. Laurie for several years. She has accomplished things no other Dr. could. I love that she is so passionate about what she does! She is the only Dr. who was not afraid to work on my neck as I have 3 vertebrae fused together and when she does it relieves so much tension. Unfortunately for her she has helped me so much I rarely need to come back!

Dr. Laurie was recommended to me by my MPT, also from New Prague. Dr. Laurie is the first and only chiropractor I have ever seen. She took time to understand what pain I had and time to get to know me. Although my condition has been described as chronic, since seeing Dr. Laurie, my mobility has increased and my pain level decreased dramatically. I love how she takes care of me, she is excellent! Her staff is very kind and efficient always. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future.
