This office is the most unprofessional office I've ever had to work with. The office staff is inconsiderate of large time delays and Dr. Breffeilh was abrasive and unapologetic. If you expect to be seen on time don't. Even if you schedule the first appointment of the morning. I tried that too. Plan at least an hour for a 20 minute appointment and over 2 hours of waiting for a normal eye exam. Its astonishing that a professional office would schedule appointment and then be so apathetic. Their office cancels your appointment if you're late. But, they have no problem making you wait till 40 minutes after your scheduled appointment before the doctor even comes in. I understand things happen or run late from time to time but this office is always late. He is the only ophthalmologist is Juneau. I guess it really is true that you sacrifice quality to live in a small town.

Top notch professional. This Dr. knows all about the inner workings of the eye. He did my Cataract removal in both eyes and I am very pleased!

Well ya can't please everyone all the time. I found this Doctor more than willing to take his time and visit with me. He has a very busy office and his office staff keeps him very busy probably over booking his time. Other than that , he is funny, likable, answers questions, sometimes you won't like the answers, but he is honest. He did surgery on both of my eyes and would have him do it again. I'm a Registered Nurse and would recommend him to anyone seeking eye care.

Excellent - knows Spanish well enough to speak to me about my condition in that language. Good listener too, a skill many doctors lack today.

BEWARE. This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Dr. Breffeilh did not give me any information about my condition, refused to answer any of my questions (he actually walked out as I was asking him about my condition), and does not listen at all. His staff person took down my symptoms and he read the chart but would not listen to any of my concerns and would not listen to anything I had to say about my symptoms. Extremely rude and controlling individual!

I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. I was never able to relax during my appointment. He made me feel bad, because I couldn't remember my previous eye prescription, but while I schedule the appointment I offer my previous doctors info for them to be able to request my records and the receptionist told me they didn't need it because the Dr. liked to do his own exam and not rely on another. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. They don't really take that extra step to make me feel special. I'm just another client to them. I spend a little too much time in the waiting room. I've waited longer at other offices, but I was hoping to be seen sooner.
