Dr. Metzler's office was professional and courteous. Her office was small and personal. I felt NO Stress in her office. Dr. Metzler saw me right away. I felt very comfortable around her and felt that she answered my questions and spent an appropriate time with me. I appreciate being able to make an appointment with her in a reasonable amount of time. When I tried to get appointments at other offices, I was told they could see me in two or three months. Since I have had skin cancer before, I know the importance of catching this early. Thank you for the great office visit. I appreciate all of you.

These are my opinions: She over charges and bills for work she really doesnt perform and doesnt even care if she accurately diagnoses you..she charges over $100 for office visit and doesnt do anything but send you on your way in 5-10 mins...she is all about the money and going through the motions...i would give her negative stars if that was an option. I have verified this is her standard practice with 3 other people that have seen her in the past and all agree she is horrible and will never go to her!

Some of my questions were answered during the appointment, but not all. I still feel like I need to know more. I showed up on time, only patient there all the times I have gone and she always makes me wait thus making me late getting back to work. Very frustrating. Front receptionist is very nice and polite but the other older chick is just down right rude. Over all I won't be returning as a patient. Not to mention they charge new patients a $50 "registration fee". Ugh! I'm far from perfect but I'm hoping Metzler and staff read the reviews and rethink their office protocol or just retire and go show her dogs. I think the dogs get better treatment than patients.

I never had the chance to see the dermatologist for reasons unbeknownst to me. Kathy at the front desk was more then rude to me. It was as if she didn't want "my kind" there. I don't really know if it was due to my last name or that she thought I was younger then I was, but she treated me like a school teacher would treat a student that they didn't like. When she said they couldn't take my insurance with out a referral, I told her I would pay cash. Her response was, "well it could be 150 to 175 dollars." I said that's fine, and she said, "you have that?" All the while with a condescending tone to her voice. When I asked if a referral from my doctor from my previous city would suffice she responded by saying, "it can't be a written referral, the doctor has to call and talk to the dermatologist." It seemed as if she just wanted me to leave the office. I will never go back and share my experience with anyone who asks if I know any good dermatologists.
