The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. Whatever cologne they were wearing was one of the best I've ever smelled. It made my experience that much more enjoyable. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. I took my 4 year old daughter to see him and he usually doesn't see children that often so he was a little concerned about why we came there but I wanted the best surgeon for her as possible. After examining her, he went out of his way to help us get through the ordeal of staph infections in her neck and open ulcer. After treating her with a strong antibiotic to get the infection under control, and the ulcer healed he scheduled her for surgery at Loyola. We took her there and everything was wonderful, and he did a marvelous job on her throat and neck. I would highly recommend him to anyone, he's very skilled and I really appreciate everything he did to get to the bottom of the problem. I know other people who have had the same condition mistreated and still struggle with it. My daughter healed fine and is doing wonderfully.
I left the appointment feeling much better and more knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and I felt very informed. I was able to relax during my appointment here. I do plan on recommending them to my friends and acquaintances. If anyone I know is in need of a good ENT doctor, I will direct them here. I was very satisfied with my visit.
My visit with Dr. Gatti was beyond atrocious. My appointment was early morning. I then proceeded to hear the doctor come into the office at least 45 minutes after I originally showed up. I went for throat problems. His treatment for this was a nasal spray. He seemed to be just trying to push pharmaceuticals than actually listening to the patient. When I asked him about surgery his statement was "You've only had this condition for 10 months..." 10 months?! That is absolutely insane. The reason I made an appointment with a specialist was because I was sick of going to my PCP and getting cultures every 2 months. I've had this condition for 10 months and apparently the only treatment advice he gave me was: "Advil & a mouthwash". Thanks for the common sense doc. I was very unsatisfied and will be seeking a second opinion.
I have since returned to the office two more times (in the same day). That is a total of three times in one day. They told me I should check to make sure the lab they use is in network. Well since my network referred me to you in the first place, I figured I was in the clear. Then I decided just to be on the safe side I should call. Answer: No. The lab they were going to use was not in network. What was the solution? I had to go back to the office and physically take MY OWN SWAB & CULTURE to the facility where it can be tested. I have NEVER heard of this, EVER. I probably should have just swabbed my throat myself. At least that way I could have saved the admission price to this circus.
