I have the utmost admiration and respect for Dr. Spears. I am older now and have not seen her for quite some time but she provided wonderful care to myself, my mom,dad, brothers and sister. She saw all her patients in the hospital, (unlike many docs who use hospitalists to care for inpatient clients) SHE MADE HOUSECALLS! when my mom or dad was too ill to go into the office. She was my doctor all through my childhood and even took care of my young son until we moved away from the area. The fact that I became a nurse had a lot to do with the impression she made on me. I still think about her and wonder how she is doing. Not only was she top-notch professionally but she is a beautiful woman inside and out. Some physicians know all about the SCIENCE of medicine as she also does but many haven't a clue about the ART of practicing good medicine.
