She was short with me and insisted on a CT scan for my 10 month old because his head had grown quite a bit. Although I argued that he had NO other symptoms she was looking for (such as a bulging soft spot) I relented after her insistence and had the CT scan done. NOW I know that CT scans are not recommended for children and increase their risk of cancer. As for my other son, she never diagnosed his undescended testicles through all of his well child visits. He needed surgery for them at age 12. Now he is at a higher risk for testicular cancer, as well as infertility. I'm angry and frustrated and will continue to worry about my children's future health due to her incompetence.
