Upon moving to Sioux City, I was referred to Dr. Bruening by a doctor in Omaha, NE for treatment of my young child's injury to the back of his eye (where the nerves and receptors are).

Dr. Bruening's exam was very short. Dr. Bruening refused to answer any of my questions and refused to justify her recommendations for his treatment. After I asked, perhaps, my third simple question, she looked at my quizzically and wondered if doctors I had previously visited with were willing to answer my questions. When I told her "yes," she shook her head in disbelief and gave me a term that she said I could look up via Google.

Had my son not already received wonderful treatment from Drs. Proffit in Grand Island, NE, Welch in Hastings, NE, and Drake in Omaha, NE, I would have been at an absolute loss about how to treat my son's very serious condition that threatened, and continues to threaten, his vision.

If Beth Bruening treats other patients as poorly as she did my son, then she is doing a disservice to our community. If anyone is seeking treatment for a complex condition and wants to be educated about the condition, please consider seeing a different ophthalmologist.

No, it was expensive.

Definitely not! It was obvious they just wanted to make money!

Never! I don't think I've ever been put on hold here for a long time

Yes; the equipment is very advanced!

Yes
Was there annoying music playing while you waited or during your visit?
No, there was no annoying music
Has this provider ever cancelled your appointment on you last minute?
Never, they are very reliable.

Very! The most welcoming office I've visited!
