My surgery was reconstructive rather than cosmetic. I arrived at the hospital with a Stage 4 pressure ulcer and was near death. Dr. Koleyni more or less took charge of my care - from stopping the massive infection through making surgical flaps to finally close the wound. He was very direct and thorough in describing my condition and available treatment options. He demanded excellence from the staff and was clearly well respected by all. Considering my initial condition, I believe Dr. Koleyni saved my life.

Oh, I am a "self pay" (no insurance) and he was considerate of that.

Patient was referred to Dr.K. by a nurse friend.

On initial visit he was told multiple times she wanted an increase in breast size of 2 cups AND and an increase in fullness.

For some odd reason he didn't have a "tryout" bra and only 2 sample implants 1 300 and 1 450. The patient had done some research beforehand and was fairly sure it would require at least a 325ml saline implant (filled to maximum rated volume of 350 + overfill) to reach a 2 cup increase since the American Society of Plastic Surgeons states that for each cup increase the average required fill was 189ml.

But there was no way to try out different implant volumes but he assured the patient he could achieve a 2 cup increase in size (not an increase in bra size. going from a 34b at band+2.5" to a 34d at band+4" is a 1.5 cup increase) with moderate plus profile 300ml implants.

then he ordered 275ml implants anyway without telling the patient talking her into them at the last minute before surgery.

needless to say the surgery was a double failure. a 1.75 cup increase in cup and NO increase in fullness.
