This doctor is totally awesome. I have terrible stopped up ears which I thought I was definitely going deaf with. I visited many ear doctors that suggested all kind of things including ear surgery. Thank God I did not listen to them. I went to this older Dr. that my pharmacist and a good friend had recommended as wonderful. He looked at my ear and very assuredly said my ear canal was too small and drainage gets lodged into it and took an instrument that felt like a helicopter going off in my ear (didn't hurt) and immediately undrained my ear. I had spent hundreds of dollars and probably 5 to 6 ENT visits to different people. This doctor is abrupt, but has a sweet bedside manner when you talk to him. You get rid of all these older Drs. like Dr. Sheffield and you have gotten rid of a huge amount of knowledge.

I see this doctor for the fist time about a month ago. He is a older doctor who should retire. He came in yelling at me because I wouldn't sign my HIPPA paper because it said he could use my confidential health information for marketing purposes. He screamed that that isn't what it says then left the room to find out. He came back and said ok it does but I wouldn't do that and now he claimed he could not treat me because I did not trust him. I brought a salad in his office bc I had not eaten in 48 hours and figured since I was a work in I could try to eat it while I waited. His staff said you can not eat here like I was suppose to know. I asked was there a no eating sign up because I thought I missed something by mean way they said I could not eat. I got yelled at for that by the doctor once I was put in the exam room.
What has the field of medicine come to when you can be forced to sign such a paper and screamed at for wanting to eat a snack in the lobby all the while I was sick. Needless to say by the time I left I was in tears.
Compassion at it's finest.
