I've been seeing this doctor for years. The service has really gone downhill and I'm surprised they are even still open. The office is disorganized, you can't get thru to the nurse after leaving multiple messages for multiple days. Finally I had to call back and choose the option to schedule an appointmen and spoke with someone else who I begged to help me. They are behind on calling in scripts for refills. Dr Mandel is aware of the problem and apologized, but many months later the situation has not changed. It happened again for my next round of refills. Yes, I was up to date on my visits with no new problems. Very unsafe waiting for meds to be called in for seizures and migrains. Save yourself the hassle and go to a doctor you can stay with and be established. I'm switching.

A little behind schedule but what doctor isn't? Dr Mandell took all the time I needed and answered all the questions I had. Couldn't recommend him more highly.

If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. The office staff is very unfriendly and I usually anticipate a wait time of 1 or 2 hours. Once i finally get back to see Dr. Mandell he rushes through the visit. However he is very knowledgable and helpful. I would like to put out a disclaimer that while experimenting on the best drug combination to treat my mother, he made a few wrong choices. She was very lethargic and eventually ended up in the hospital for several days. If you're taking any drugs be sure to do your homework and have someone watch your symptoms.
