My low rating is not for Dr. Hammer, who is excellent and provides excellent service. It is for the fact that the Medical Eye Center does not provide its patients with the vision certification service for submitting vision results to the MD DMV to assist with the patients vehicle license renewal. The MD DMV maintains a list on their web site of all the eye doctors in MD that are certified to provide such a service. It is a very extensive list but no eye doctor from the Medical Eye Center is on that list because they have refused to set up that capability. That means that the patient either has to mail the MD form to the Center to manually fill it out or drive to their office and leave it to be filled out and return the next day to retrieve it. Talk about 19th century capabilities. The Medical Eye Center needs to modernize its service to its patients, because that is the business they are supposed to be in!

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
