These reviews are all clearly computer-generated. You answer a couple of multiple choice questions and a review is generated. I decided to take the time to write a review and let people know what to actually expect. EVERY time we have visited this pediatrician, we have waited a long time, often over an hour just to get back to see the nurse. Then the process of seeing the nurse, waiting for the doctor, etc can make a routine sick visit be over 2 hours. This is a regular occurrence, not only with sick visits, but with well visits that are scheduled months in advance. They clearly have too many patients and schedule too many in each time slot, without the requisite number of nurses and docs to accommodate. Seems like a revenue maximizing scenario on their part, but makes for a nightmare scenario on the part of the parent, especially when it's a sick visit. My most recent experience: showed up with very sick child, at 11:35 for my 11:45 am appointment. At 12:20, a woman who came in after me with a child was called back. When I asked how that was possible, the receptionist said that I was early and more than likely (she didn't know for sure) the patient taken back had an earlier appointment. First off, I don't find that possible - a mom is not showing up at 12:20 for an 11:30 sick appointment, not happening. Regardless if I'm there on time for my 11:45, and someone rolls in at 12:20 for their "earlier" appointment, tough darts, they shouldn't get to go ahead of me. The receptionist then said I was absolutely next, yet another mom walked in at 12:35 with what seemed to be a 12 year old kid (I'm with a very sick 2-year-old by the way), and she gets called back. So I inquire again, why am I being put off? Their answer: "that patient was sick and we didn't want to expose her to the other kids." WTF -- I'm sitting here with a very sick 2 year old - every kid in here is sick. That makes no sense. The whole ordeal was over 2 hours, I left knowing my son did NOT have an ear infection, did NOT have strep, and they tested for the flu and said I'd hear back that afternoon or next day -- here we are 4 days later, I've not heard back, so I called, was put on hold for 10 minutes, then told "there are no nurses that I can grab, we'll call you back right away" Hours have passed. The nurses and docs are nice enough, the place is clean, etc, but at the end of the day, they clearly care more about maximizing revenue by over scheduling, and put less emphasis on helping kids in a timely fashion. We are currently looking for another pediatrician, as we've given them more than enough chances and they've fallen short time and time again. Beware.

They always make sure every single question I have is answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I've been going to Dr Gordon and his staff for twenty years for my two daughters and I feel VERY fortunate I found them that long ago. The office was easy enough to find.

I don't understand how this practice was rated so well until I actually read the reviews. The vast majority of the 4+ reviews seem to be computer-generated. The clients who actually took the time to write in, for the most part, seem to dislike this practice. We have been going for several years, and have given them chance after chance, but are now making the switch to another pediatrician. G-K has been going steadily downhill despite its beautiful new office. The staff is just as bad as everyone has written about and is very rude. We asked for a copy of our son's medical records so that we can bring them to our new doctor (which we had to find because they "couldn't" schedule our son's wellness exam within a month of the necessary date). They have steadfastly refused to give us a copy of his file. It has been a week of one reason or another. Not sure how a receptionist who spends her time gossiping about other employees' salaries in front of patients doesn't have enough time to copy a five-page file, but there you have it. We are sad to be leaving the nurses here, who are exceptional, but at this point, each experience is worse than the one before it.

The restrooms at this office were spotless. They looked immaculate. The waiting room had everything my child could ask for. Games, toys, magazines.... and not just for younger kids but for adolescents as well. The office has a pleasant smell. They must clean or sanitize all the time. I felt that they really valued my baby's health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on him. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. Their office was one quiet and peaceful, even with all the babies and kids in the waiting room. I was able to relax very easily.
