Absolute abysmal experience. I have been diagnosed with radiculopathy/nerve compression and gait abnormality. EMG shows nerve damage in arms and legs. My MRI shows bone spurs, blown disks, facet joint problems at the exact place where the nerve damage is coming from. Confirmed by 4 or 5 other doctors, including 2 neurologists. I traveled one hour in a wheelchair to see this guy, he kept me waiting for over one hour. I was told he was seeing other patients. His PA came in, asked me two or three questions which showed he clearly had not read the very clear and precise notes I had put together (or the EMG report or the MRI report), and spent about 2 minutes pulling on my arms and legs. Then Dr Saris comes in and tells me he just can't for figure out what his wrong with me, claiming to have read thousands of images from my MRI, while simultaneously seeing the other patients (the last guy left 10 mins before he came in the room). Total time spent between him and the PA was less than 10 minutes tops. I would strongly suggest that people read reviews from some of the review websites about this guy. There is some pretty dark stuff written about this guy.

I had recently had an MRI performed for severe back pain, difficulty standing, sitting, etc. The MRI report showed my previous back surgery,(12 years ago), another herniated lumbar disc, herniated and disc protrusions in the thracic region, disc fragments in the lumbar region. I had gone to Dr. Saris and he recommended back surgery or live with the pain and get pain management. At this time I was reluctant to have the surgery out of fear and choose the pain management. Later, the insurance company that is paying my workmans compensation weekly checks requested a report from Dr. Saris. His report to the insurance co. stated that I had experienced a back sprain and that I should have healed. It is quite obvious what is going on here. He had done this to other patiences, one being case no. WCC02-06994 back on November 9, 2001 in Rhode Island. You be the Judge with this Doctor. I have major concerns for my own health and now for any other patiences that may plan on visiting Dr. Saris.
