He was convicted of purgery in the investigation of the 1993 strangulation murder of his girlfriend. He mainipulated two men with highly addictive pain medication to get them to lie for him.

As far as being a doctor, in at least one patient, he allowed cancer to spread throughout her neck. He did this with a smile.

He was a truly evil individual. He died in prison, ironically of pancreatic cancer in 2014. I'm grateful he can no longer harm others.

He is dead. He was incarcerated for perjury in regards to a homicide investigation of his wife. How ironic, an endocrinologist dying of pancreatic cancer. It should be noted that he was never convicted of homicide.
