I at one point in time while suffering from a severely herniated disc, had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Baumeister for care regarding my pain management. He and his staff were courteous and professional not to mention genuine. I at no point became uncomfortable with the care and advice given me by the Dr. I wish him all the ssucess in the world. In a time when opiods and other pain management drugs are under heavy scrutiny, this man acted with compassion and a genuine desire to help me with my issue when the neurosurgeon tasked with treating my herniated disc actually tried to send me to a psychaittrist to "give me tools to help me withmy pain" when in actuality he did not think that I was in pain. This "Dr" treated me for almost five years with a variety of pain medication and much scrutiny. After he FINALLY operated on me, he came to me in post op and asked how I felt, to which I answered that "it felt like the truck parked on my back was finally gone". He replied that it was one of the largest herniations that he had ever removed, and he had done hundreds. So, I asked if he now thought that I was faking it and he simply answered "NO' then closed his clip board and left. No apology, NOTHING. This Dr. by the way is Tom Stonecipher with the Everett Clinic. Dr. Baumeister is the epitome of a complete opposite of Stonecipher. If you need help, Dr. Baumeister will provide it. I went to Dr. Baumeister with concerns about insomnia and knee pain and have no history of drug abuse. He would not make eye contact or answer direct questions. He never examined or even touched me. Typed endlessly at the computer making a treatment plan without consulting me. Made several snide comments like "I'm going to dig up the dirt on you" when going through my medical records. When I told him I felt disrespected, he replied: "disrespect is not a verb." At the end of the appointment, after I asked him why he was behaving so rudely, he said "I'm not the one who showed up late to my appointment." When I showed him the text from the clinic with the appointment time--I was on time, he said that the hospital had made a mistake and left the room without speaking to me. So basically I'm still in pain and unable to sleep and now I have to deal with being treated like garbage by the person that was supposed to help me

Dr Baumeister is the BEST Dr for pain management! He has always been attentive to my needs and takes his time with me.

Previous doctors that I have gone to have told me that I would be in a wheelchair before the age of 50. I am NOT ever going to be in a wheelchair, thanks to Dr Baumeister!

I am currently almost 57 and because of Dr Baumeister and his positive attitude and help, I am currently able to walk almost 1.5 miles now.

Unfortunately, he left his practice with Swedish Medical Center in Edmonds Wa, but he has moved his practice over to Eastern Washington. I must go and see him every 2 months, but as much as an inconvenience it is with me, I know that I can trust 100%!

For all he has done for me, he is my hero! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š and I am proud to call him my Dr. If anyone has a Dr that tells you that you will be incapacitated soon, don't listen to him, call Dr Baumeister.

I have finally found a Dr that will really take the time to know me and my issues. The last two places I've gone were not only scared to prescribe patients adequate amount of meds to function on a normal level they treated me like a common criminal. I'm college educated, work a full time executive level job, live in a beautiful home with my husband and three children. Far from the criminal I have been treated like at WA center for pain Mgmt and pacific pain in issaquah. Dr. B took close to 2 hours at my 1st appt to review everything with me and my options. He is a wonderful physician and I'm so greatful I've found him. I'm just sorry it took 4 years of working with other Dr's and living in agony. I can finally live my life the way I'm supposed to!!!

be very aware of this dr. take witness to every visit, take notes, and read your file every visit to check for mistakes.. this dr. is nervous and unethical in his actual practice as he does not keep factual notes, is unwilling and unable to communicate appropriately with patients, is slanderous to the point of falsely documenting patient files to his own insecurities...this was not observed at first, however after a few visits it was shockingly clear...hard to undue what doctors have to say about their patients so again, beware, take witness and notes every visit should you take the risk to schedule with dr. baumeister. sorry, but the Gods honest truth.

They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them.
