I am not on pain medication, as i am allgeric to most. I was having rotary cuff surgery for the 2nd time (other arm) i explained thst, brought the letter from prevois md, stating Fentyl. Thats what i got for 6 days. This sob would not list
En to me. He prescribed something that made me very sick, and had nothing for pain. I was in excruciating pain for 2 days. DO NOT GO TO HIM. No bedside manners

I have been going to doctors for 30 years due to my disability. I work 60 + hours a week and do my part in contribution to Society. I have been going to an amazing pain Doctor back home and recently moved here and started seeing Goodson. I will not put a DR. In front of his name because he is NOT one. A real doctor listens to their patient and helps them but this guy doesn't! I'm assuming he just likes his paycheck and his title. At my previous pain Doctor it took me 3 months to get on the correct medications so I could continue to work hard at my jobs and balance life. I have now moved here and go to this guy who switches everything on me and cause me to miss work and put my job and health benefits on the line. I tried to explain this to him and he brushed it off and stated he would not continue my regamin because he doesn't believe in short acting medicine and my previous routine that worked for me for 3 years. He insisted on putting me on a medication that made me a zombie and extremely sick coasting me to miss work. I tried to tell him I could literally aford to do that and he interrupted me and said he only believed in long acting medicine only and I could go somewhere else. So I did and I get everything I need to continue what my amazing Doctor back home set me up on!
There's nothing good about Goodson. He doesn't listen the the patient needs. Everyone is different and he could care less! His staff is AMAZING!!!!

If your thinking about going, don't, Dr Goodson an arrogent PR..K with the personality of a wet noodle. He sent me a nasty letter terminating our dr/patient relationship because he had thought i receive pain medication from another Dr. but what really happened was when i droped his perscription off I also dropped off another perscription from my urologist and the pharmacist made a mistake and put his name on the pill bottle instead of goodson so when i brought the letter from wallgreens explaining what had happened to goodsons office to talk to him, he hid behind a wall and told his receptionist that he didn't want to talk to me. he automatically assumed that i did something wrong instead of asking me or calling the pharmacy. now i am waiting for him to be a man and apologize but i don't think its ever going to happen! he actually did me a favor though it was unbearable even for one visit every two months the guy has no bedside manor and is a bore.

This is the most arrogant dr. I have ever treated with. He has a "Godlike" attitude about him. I treated with him for 4 yrs. and had between 6-10 injections in that time period. He insists you come in every month or he will not write your pain prescriptions. Other pain management drs. allow you to come in every 3 months, once established, and in between write your Rx and you go in the office and pick them up. Dr. Goodson insists on every month so he can bill for an office visit every month. He is all about the money, not you and your pain. He comes into the room, sits down with his back to you,looking over all yours meds, and asks the same 3 questions every month, how are you, what is your pain level, and are your bowels moving okay? However, on my last visit he did ask me if I had ever had an injection. In the 4 yrs I treated with him I had between 6-10 injections given by him. Had he bothered to review my chart, which was in his hand, he would have seen when he gave me injections. I asked him if he did not remember giving me injections and he rudely replied, "I give thousands of injections a year". All the more reason to review each and every patient's chart. I asked him if it was his rule or the Federal governments that he makes a patient come in every month to get their Rxs and he refused to answer. Again, he is all over the money and billing each and every one of his patients for a monthly office visit. Shame on his greediness. I would never go back to him and would advise anyone to stay away from him.

When comparing him to others in his field, I would say DR Goodson is the worst Doctor I have ever seen. I will never return! I was in a lot of pain during my visit and HE COULD HAVE CARED LESS! Very arrogant and impersonal. I would never recommend him to any family or friends. No bedside manner! Seek someone else for care.

I was referred to Dr. Goodson by my primary physician. I have found him to be an excellent, no-nonsence physician that has helped me tremendously. He knew exactly what test to perform to confirm my situation and then proceeded to provide the proper medication that now allows me to function as I once did before I was hit with the disabling pain of neck stenosis.
I would recommend him to anyone who suffers with chronic pain. We don't have to live like that - and I have Dr. Mark Goodson to thank for that!
I have read the other "negative) reviews and I don't know what planet they came from because the statements are TOTALLY false. Though I don't know, they sound like "legal" drug seekers. Unfortunately for doctors in this arena they must deal with these kinds of people. Sad that their probable addiction is driving them to make remarks in retaliation when they can't get what THEY want.
