1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
1pound chicken breasts
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
Blend together the thyme, salt, and pepper and use it to season both sides of the chicken breasts.
In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil in the pan over medium or medium-high heat. Add the chicken to the pan and cook each side for 7-8 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
Move the chicken to a serving dish and keep warm while preparing the sauce.
To prepare the sauce, lower the heat to medium-low and add the balsamic vinegar and honey to the skillet. Simmer for 1 minute or until the glaze appears to thicken; stir the glaze continuously. Pour the glaze from the pan over the warm chicken.
