1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups canned crushed tomatoes
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup diced potatoes
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 tablespoon curry powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cook the ground beef in a pan with the onions until brown.
Add the tomatoes, peas, potatoes, ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a low boil and cook for 25 minutes.
Add water as needed to maintain a consistency similar to chili.
