To Follow My Dreams More

I have been working as a Psychotherapist; Psychologist; Social Worker; Ecumenical Minister for at lot of years. I have been counseling others for at least 28 years in more than one capacity. Up until February of 2008 I did not do more with Artistic pursuits including playing/performing and composing music and doing fresh Paintings; I had stopped pursuing both Art and Music altogether since I never could gain employment in any artistic pursuit. I thought that this is it for me since doing counseling and essential social work services were the only means of earning a living I stopped dreaming and just work and worked in the field of outpatient mental health services up until February 2008 when two Patients inspired Me to pursue my artistic interests again. One busted my balls pretty much until I had to admit that I needed to use some of the encouragement I given others towards my own Lifepath. Another gave me a Keyboard refused to accept back saying 'that it would be shame not to share your music and art with others - what a waste that would be of God's gift and for you to ignore!' I had to listen and their messages touched me somuch to the heart. After that I started playing the keyboard and piano again...then I got into Electric guitars and after that composed over 457 songs to date; produced 26 albums of New Age; Ambient rock;jazz music; written two books and working on the third with the title - 'The Inner War Zone - A Psychotherapist's Story.' It would touch on vibrant crucial issues of today and the ongoing cyclical dysfunctions of the individual and family. You would be surprised with the percentages of how many people feel that it is healthier to have MORE pain in life than without - how else would you know your strengths and who are in your corner versus not beyond the smiling faces. You would be shocked in the increasing prevalence of drug abuse in the Education system. Are your child's teachers teaching while in the High?! \n\nBack to the music - I am now on Cable QPTV and just became a TV Producer and will also be on radio with many websites helping others with Talent to get their work out there.
