I want this hour of my life and my co-pay back!

I was referred by my GP for a fibromyalgia consult. Dr. Lynch clearly doesn't like fibromyalgia, told me that it's "probably real, as only a few people would get secondary gains from seeking medical attention" but that the current thinking is it's not rheumatological, it's neurological (then why are you taking consults?)

He didn't like the fact he couldn't hit me with a panacea drug due to my allergies and suggested stopping coumadin even though he knows nothing about my history of blood clots.

All in all I found him condescending, disinterested to the point of annoyed I was paying him to be there, dismissive, rude and ineffective.

It's time for this guy to retire or change focus!

They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here. The staff welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door, and were happy to help me with whatever I needed. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. I couldn't believe how many new and interesting magazines they had in the waiting room. Time flew by because I had plenty of good reading material. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. All above is fine but in addition Dr. Lynch is a well experienced, knowledgeable person who takes time to be sure all your questions are answered.
