Michael Hook
Dr. Michael Hook is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist and assistance progressor in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. He graduated medical school from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He then moved to Texas to complete his pediatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, then to California to complete his fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. He then moved to Charleston after completing his fellowship. While Dr. Hook treats all type of pediatric gastroenterological conditions, he is also engaged as part of multidisciplinary care in the Intestinal Rehabilitation Program Clinic and Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at MUSC. Dr. Hook enjoys understanding a patient’s story and how it informs effective care.Services
