Samuel Ruder
Dr. Samuel Ruder is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist based in New York City with specialized expertise in caring for patients with prostate cancer and other genitourinary (GU) malignancies, including kidney cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer, as well as those with non-malignant blood disorders. Dr. Ruder earned his medical degree from the University of Texas McGovern Medical School, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for scholarly excellence. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and his hematology/oncology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Ruder is nationally recognized for his research in radioligand therapy (RLT), molecular PET imaging, and novel treatments for advanced and neuroendocrine prostate cancers. Dr. Ruder is a recipient of the 2024 ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award. He is actively involved in clinical trials and translational research, aiming to bring cutting-edge, targeted therapies to patients. Dr. Ruder sees patients at both Lower Manhattan Hospital and on the Upper East Side, where he is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care.
