Edvard Gumbs, MD, is a cardiologist. He diagnoses and treats heart and blood vessel conditions like hardening of the arteries, heart attacks, heart valve disease, coronary/carotid artery disease and cardiomyopathy. Dr Gumbs earned his medical degree from The Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in New Jersey. He followed that with a residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. After residency, Dr Gumbs completed a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He is an active community volunteer and an accomplished researcher and guest lecturer.
