Meagan DelBaggio Fernandez, DO, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine. Dr Fernandez is the appointed section chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics for Geisinger. As the only surgeon in the region who is board certified in pediatric orthopaedics and subspecialty certified in orthopaedic sports medicine, she brings a unique skill set to treat growing athletes in our region. Dr Fernandez graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, where she played Division I basketball and was a Bell Atlantic scholar athlete.
