Dr. Colón-Cortés specializes in pulmonology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. She sees patients at All Children's Specialty Physicians Outpatient Care, Wesley Chapel. She joined the medical staff in 2025.
She was previously a physician at Tampa General Hospital, and assistant professor in pediatrics-pulmonary medicine, co-director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center and medical director of newborn screening for Cystic Fibrosis at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa.
Dr. Colón-Cortés earned her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara College of Physicians and Surgeons in Mexico. She completed clinical training at Ponce School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Puerto Rico. She then completed a pediatric residency at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital/Ponce School of Medicine, followed by a pediatric pulmonary fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
