Wendy Betah, D.N.P., is a family medicine provider with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. N.P. Betah started her nursing career as a pediatric nurse practitioner on an intermediate care unit, caring for patients with varying, complex needs. She also had the wonderful opportunity to care for the underserved community with management of acute and chronic conditions, providing her with lifelong lessons that she carries with her.
N.P. Betah enjoys providing holistic, evidence-based care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. She enjoys collaborating with her patients and their families, building strong relationships, learning their stories, highlighting their strengths and striving to empower them with knowledge to help them lead more fulfilling lives. N.P. Betah especially enjoys providing mental health services to those in need. Teaching the next generation of healthcare providers is also something she is passionate about, and continually growing her knowledge via continuing education courses.
N.P. Betah was born and raised in Cameroon, West Africa. She has a very close-knit family. Her son is the highlight of her life! She enjoys family gatherings, cooking, spending time at the beach, spending time with her church family, sightseeing, traveling, and volunteering.
