Jeanne Prins, C.N.M., is a certified nurse midwife with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. After working as an R.N. in Boston for five years following graduation, C.N.M. Prins worked for an International Rescue Committee Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Africa for five years. While there, she worked both with refugees and displaced people. After completing her time there, she then came back to the U.S. to become a midwife.
C.N.M. Prins has been providing gynecology and obstetrics care for the Howard County community for more than 20 years. She loves working with women from puberty through menopause. While she no longer delivers babies, she is honored to care for women through their pregnancies, as part of their obstetrics care team.
C.N.M. Prins is married with two sons. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys staying active and doing outdoor activities such as running, biking, hiking and skiing.
