Elizabeth Rubin
Elizabeth Rubin, D.O., is a hematologist oncologist at the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Rubin earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine after earning a master’s degree in medical clinical sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Her clinical training includes an internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a hematology oncology fellowship at Memorial Regional Hospital. During her fellowship, Dr. Rubin conducted breast cancer research, resulting in published studies, and spent her last year managing a dedicated breast clinic. Since each patient’s experiences, priorities and support systems are unique, Dr. Rubin focuses on the whole person, not just the disease, when partnering with her patients to make treatment decisions. Her goal is to be a physician her patients can rely upon through the ups and downs of their cancer journey — someone who listens, supports them emotionally and provides the best evidence-based care so they feel both medically and personally supported. Dr. Rubin is fluent in English and Russian. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, going to exercise classes, being outdoors and traveling to explore new places.
