Adam Kroopnick, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology, Division of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease, and an Assistant Attending Neurologist in the Comprehensive Stroke Center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he also completed his residency in Neurology and fellowship in Vascular Neurology. Since joining the faculty in 2025, Dr. Kroopnick has served as Co-Director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship. His clinical and academic interests focus on vascular neurology with a focus on inpatient care and management. He was recently honored with the Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award for his commitment to education and mentorship.
