Dr Andrew Lazo is an Assistant Member in the Department of Internal Medicine at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Lazo received his MD from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident.   Dr Lazo's clinical focus is the management of complex hospitalized patients, with particular attention to optimizing treatment and symptom management. He has a strong commitment to graduate medical education and is passionate about teaching residents at the bedside, emphasizing clinical reasoning, communication, and compassionate care.
