Prior to joining Inova, Dr Patel completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex gastrointestinal surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.
Dr Patel’s clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, hernia surgery, and foregut surgery. He enjoys caring for adult patients and believes that the best surgical outcomes are achieved when physicians and patients work together as a team.
