Dr DeKornfeld is a board-certified vascular surgeon with an interest in all facets of vascular surgery. He utilizes both endovascular and open techniques to formulate a personal surgical care plan for his patients. He completed his medical doctorate (MD) at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee where he graduated with highest honors. He has been previously inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical and Gold Humanism honor societies. He completed his integrated vascular surgery residency program at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He holds a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification. In his spare time, Dr DeKornfeld likes to participate in outdoor activities.
