Alexander Carvajal Gonzalez MD, MSc, PhD is a University of Florida assistant professor of neurology and a neurologist at UF Health Jacksonville, specializing in neuroimmunology. Dr Carvajal Gonzalez received his medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He completed his neurology residency at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, and subspecialty training in autoimmune neurology at Harvard University. He also completed a research fellowship in neuroimmunology and neurological infections at Johns Hopkins University, a Master's in Physiology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a Master's in Neuroscience from Washington State University, and a PhD in Clinical Neurology from the University of Oxford.
