Dr Garber is a native of Newton and graduated from Newton South High School. He received his undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania, and his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine where he received the Harold Lamport Prize for an Outstanding Thesis. Dr Garber did his internship and residency in Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr Garber began practicing Pediatrics in Framingham in 1988, and founded Framingham Pediatrics in 1993.
