Dr Sara Sutherland is an emergency medicine physician with UP Health System ? Marquette. She earned her Doctorate in Medicine from the Central Michigan University College of Human Medicine before completing her emergency medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in various locations throughout Minnesota, where she spent time as chief resident. During her residency training, she volunteered time abroad in native Ugandan and Ghanaian communities, teaching ?Stop the Bleed? and Basic Life Support classes, as well as providing OB/GYN and sexually transmitted infection care and education.
