Dr Cable is board-certified in general, cardiac and thoracic surgery, and has been practicing cardiovascular medicine for nearly 30 years. He attended medical school at the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. In his post-graduate training, Dr Cable joined Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, to complete his residency in general surgery and fellowship in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. ?After years of practicing medicine in various cities across the Midwest, I?m excited to call the UP home and work alongside the great staff at UP Health System. It has always been my philosophy to treat my patients the way I would want myself and family to be treated; I believe doing so leads to better patient outcomes and satisfaction.
