He completed a residency in general surgery from The Roosevelt Hospital at Columbia University College of Medicine and an orthopedic surgery residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University College of Medicine. Dr Schwartz is fellowship trained in orthopedic biomechanics, also at The Hospital for Special Surgery.
