She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from Assumption University before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and Nevis. Dr. Torres completed her residency in internal medicine at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital.
