Samuel Bidot, MD, specializes in hematopathology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Bidot earned his medical degree from the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France, in 2008. After completing an ophthalmology residency in Dijon, France, he practiced neuro-ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology for several years in Paris, France before moving to the United States. Dr. Bidot then completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed a hematopathology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and a surgical pathology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Bidot is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2025.
