Dr Alex Kallio has more than 26 years of experience in family practice and sports medicine. Dr Kallio and his wife Jen, daughters Maya, Elayna, and Maggie, relocated to Pittsboro from Nebraska in July of 2024 for Jens job as a faculty dentist at UNC Adam’s School of Dentistry. As a former athlete himself and a chiropractor for the University of Nebraska Cornhusker football team Dr Kallio is well versed in treating all ages and conditions. He is certified in dry needling, functional movement assessments, and also utilizes red light therapy, cupping, Graston, kinesiotape and more to keep you active in the game of life."
