Dr. Ronald Fields is a board certified, fellowship trained interventional cardiologist. His clinical focus is on preventive cardiology, diagnostic testing, interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stenting, cardiac rehabilitation and ongoing management of chronic heart conditions. His approach to patient care is centered around compassion, communication, and collaboration, providing each patient with a personalized treatment plan while educating them about their condition.
Dr. Fields received his medical degree from Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania and went on to complete an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Letterman Army Medical Center at the Presidio of San Francisco, California.
Prior to joining Capital Health Cardiology Specialists, Dr. Fields worked in private practice in Bucks County, Pennsylvania for more than 35 years. He was recognized as a Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctor from 2010 through 2025 and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
